June 17, 2009 (When you have to write a paper for a class, where do you start researching information for your topic?)

When I have to write a paper for a class, I start researching for information on google. It seems like the easiest website to acccess information from. I go here for almost everything and get an answer 99% of the time. Sometimes when i search for things on Google it almost always brings up links to Wiki so I guess you can say i use both the search engines. I heard that Wiki sometimes has false information, thats why I don't use it as my main search engine.

  1. It's good to recognize the limitations of Wikipedia! Also, Wikipedia is actually a website, or a giant wiki, not a search engine. But it's easy to think of it as a search engine!

See you in class on Tuesday!
